How can parent-child shared reading bring the joy of reading to life while enhancing your child’s language skills?

Make reading a precious bonding experience with your child! This course, designed by experienced speech therapist and program director Miss Angel (Ms. Pui Ting Chow), aims to enhance children’s language development through parent-child shared reading. The program consists of 4 sessions, each lasting 1 hour, and is suitable for children aged 2 to 6 and their parents.

The course includes parent-child reading time and fun games, teaching parents how to use shared reading techniques to spark their child’s interest in reading. Parents will also learn questioning techniques to use during storytelling, boosting their confidence in telling stories. Additionally, the course will cover how to select books tailored to children of different ages and characteristics, along with effective strategies to promote language development in children.

Through this program, parents will learn to engage more deeply with their children, nurture their child’s language skills, and cultivate a love for reading, making shared reading moments joyful and meaningful!
