Ms. Angelica Chow

Speech Therapist (Registered) and Service Coordinator

Ms Angelica Chow possesses diverse professional experience as a speech therapist across non-profit organizations, special schools, and mainstream schools, providing assessment and treatment in language, articulation, fluency, voice, swallowing, and oral motor skills. She also serves as a clinical supervisor for university Master's programs in Speech-Language Pathology.

In recent years, Angel has specialized in sleep-disordered breathing and obstructive sleep apnea, focusing on mouth breathing and snoring in children and adults through orofacial myofunctional therapy. Using evidence-based methods, she improves airway function, promotes natural nasal breathing, and reduces snoring and breathing difficulties. Angel collaborates closely with ENT specialists and dentists, utilizing orofacial myofunctional therapy as an adjunct treatment for obstructive sleep apnea to help patients achieve quality sleep and enhanced quality of life.

In education, Angel promotes collaboration between speech therapists and teachers, employing innovative and evidence-based strategies for early identification of speech disorders, enhancing language and cognitive abilities, and strengthening student motivation for holistic development.
